Diana Anti-Bullying Award
Anti-Bullying Award
What is the Diana Anti-Bullying Award?
Bullying is one of the most devastating problems faced by today’s schools and it leaves victims unhappy and frightened, sometimes with devastating consequences. However, thousands of young people across the UK do amazing work to combat the problem, and the Diana Anti-Bullying Award recognises the outstanding contributions they make to help eradicate bullying in their schools or communities.
This year the award has been presented to the following six pupils who have made a real difference to tackling bullying in our school.
All of these Award Holders are aged between 7 and 10.
They are members of the school buddy group, helping new children to settle in and being there for lonely children at the special ‘friendship stop’.
The buddies are the voice of shy children, and they alert staff to any issues or injuries that may crop up in the playground.
