Parent Play Project - Day 1

We began by sharing a story – Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Everybody was invited to join in with the bears voices!

We then taught all the parents and carers our song – ‘When Goldilocks Went To The House Of The Bears’.

We then showed our parents and carers how we develop our fine motor skills. Today our activity was icing biscuits and decorating them with sweets to make smiley faces. We demonstrated how we have to share all our resources in school and how to be kind to each other.

We showed how we make links in our learning by using our biscuits in a rhyme – ‘There were ten in a bed and the little one said…’ We demonstrated how we learn to count forwards and backwards and how through counting songs we begin to learn about addition and subtraction.
