Rainbow Room

Park School has a lovely area called the

Rainbow Room.

This is where children can come if they need to talk about anything that may be upsetting or worrying them. It is also used when children need a little bit of time out to prepare themselves for the rest of the school day. This room is used by some pupils at lunchtime who enjoy sitting and colouring, playing games, and reflecting on their morning in school. The mentors in here are always available for the children and provide a safe and friendly environment for children to spend some of their time at lunch and break times.

This is also the base for our school behaviour mentors, Miss Karlsson and Miss Vandenbosch along with the EAL and Community Officer, Mrs Walker. These people all work together to ensure the children are happy and enjoy their time at Park school aswell as involving the families, friends and community in our school.
